The Four Fathoms Hotel is a traditional hotel and pub close to Herne Bay’s attractive seafront. Recently redecorated in a bright, contemporary style, The Four Fathoms retains an authentic and comfortable atmosphere, reflecting its early Victorian origins.
Named The Four Fathoms (24 feet) after the depth of the deepest sea off Herne Bay, this pleasant hotel has some quirky touches including a statue of Freddie Mercury behind the bar.
As well as serving a range of excellent beers, the comfortable bar area has plenty to keep customers entertained with pool, darts, fruit and quiz machines, and a large TV screening various sports events. The hotel also hosts lively music gigs once a month with an eclectic choice of bands – anything from jazz and indie to rock and disco.
The hotel accommodation consists of eight modern and comfortable rooms, with two separate shower rooms. Residents are offered a full English breakfast, included in the room price.
